Avocado Layered Salad

Avocado Layered Salad
(8-12 servings)

Ingredients:

1 cup Greek Yogurt, plain
1 cup Sour Cream
1 pkg. Ranch Dressing Mix, dry
12 cups Mixed Salad Greens, chopped
3 cups Cooked Meat, chopped (see note)
3 Large Fresh Eggs, boiled, peeled and Sliced
3 large Avocado, 2-cubed and 1-sliced
1 oz. Bleu Cheese, crumbled
4 large Green Onions, sliced
6 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 pt. Cherry or Grape Tomatoes, halved

Directions:

Combine yogurt, sour cream and ranch mix until well blended.  Refrigerate until ready to assemble salad.  After getting all the ingredients ready to assemble, use a deep round glass bowl or some other glass dish that will hold all the ingredients.  Start layering the greens, meat, eggs and cubed avocados.  Then spread the yogurt mixture over this evenly.  Now continue with cheese, onions, bacon, sliced avocados and tomatoes.  Chill 2-8 hours before serving.

Notes:              The recipe calls for 3 cups of chopped or cubed meat.  It’s your choice, of course, but I suggest trying ham, chicken or turkey for your meat.  But you can always try something else that meets your tastebuds.
